Jamie Baik, M.Ed

Jamie Baik recently graduated with an M.Ed from the Prevention Science and Practice program at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). For three years prior to arriving at HGSE, she worked at McLean Hospital’s East House II Acute Residential Treatment program for adolescents as a community residence counselor and clinical educator. This kindled a deep and abiding investment in providing culturally competent mental healthcare for teenagers and young adults, especially Asian Americans. She hopes to continue working with adolescents around understanding their emotions, especially in the context of suicidality and identity development. Currently, she is planning on applying to medical school and potentially work towards becoming a child and adolescent psychiatrist. She received her bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Williams College.
