Debra Chang

Debra Chang is the Director of Operations for the CCCSEW.  Debra graduated from Harvard with an A.B. in Sociology with High Honors, which included coursework in Leadership & Organizations and Social Entrepreneurship.  For her senior thesis titled, “Beyond the Tiger Mom: Differences in Academic Experiences between Chinese-American and White-American Students,” she examined the ways students associated academic achievement with their identity.  She currently works for InterVarsity and serves as the Lead Campus Director for the Harvard Asian-American Christian Fellowship, one of the largest undergraduate Christian student groups at Harvard. In her role, she has worked with students at Harvard and MIT and has come to see the importance of fostering healthy physical, mental, and spiritual health. Debra also served on the Executive Board as the Logistics Director for the Harvard Taiwan Leadership Conference, where she organized the staff training program and conference for high school students all across Taiwan.  She has worked cross-culturally with students in China, Sweden, Taiwan, Boston, New York, and Los Angeles.  Debra is passionate about pursuing social entrepreneurship to provide culturally specific health and wellness resources for students.
